First off I have to make a huge correction, the hair from Mithral Apothecary that I wore the other day, isn’t from Kustom9, but it is this hair, Olive. Oops! As usual, Evadne outdoes herself and make such beautiful hair. I really like how it is blown out, yet sleek, perfect for the outfit and mood I am going for today.

Powder Pack for Lelutka just released the September box, and I found so many things I want to share with you. Today I am wearing .ARISE.‘s Carol Makeup Set, both the lipstick and the eyeshadow. I am in love with the eyeshadow’s metallic textures. Such a well-done job by Helga. I am also wearing new eyes by [ MUDSKIN ]. Instead of blue, they are a mysterious violet, which is perfect because they are called the “Soul Eyes.” These could become permanent so I will play around with them a little more to see how I like them, or if I want to play around with different eyes in the future.

The top I am wearing is a new mainstore release from Blueberry. The top and the included dress are cute and sexy all at the same time and really makes me think I should really follow Blueberry‘s new releases more often!

The jewelry is from Yummy at Collabor88‘s Birthday round which will be closing shortly. I thought the chunkiness of the necklace would be a nice contrast against the softer and lightness of the dress.

The boots are from A N E from the most recent Fifty Linden Friday. They are totally hot and I love them. Plus I was able to get them in two colors. I don’t wear a lot of boots, but these are perfect for my style.

N°21 has started and forms the basis of this post. First, the hair from Stealthic is a wavy undercut. Technically, the hair is a men’s hair, however, it fits perfect on my head, which I personally am a little on the small side, so I was happy. The hair comes in a variety of styles with two different volumes and sides. My real life hair looks like this, but it is starting to get in my eyes, but too short to put in a bun, so maybe a trim is needed.

The leather jacket is from Sabotage at the N°21 event. It is really cool and texture and meshing are done really well. In the fatpack, you get versions with cool graphics and patches on it, but I opted for straight black. They also have graphic leather racing pants. Those looked cool but didn’t quite feel like buying. Sabotage also has some boots for purchase. Not my style, but maybe they are yours.

The pants are from .miss chelsea. N°21, which is another brand that is relatively new to me. I have been looking for some joggers for a while now and thought these were perfect to complete the look with the jacket.

For this post, I wanted to create a kinkier biker and when looking for events to go to, I spotted the XXX Event. They had a lot to offer like the collar from [InsurreKtion], which is color changeable, with a lot of color options, and there are multiple titles to change from the HUD. I went with more of a classic look.

The pose (the one in the van) and blindfold are from ::WetCat:: for the XXX Event. The pose comes in a poseball, rather than as a set of animations, and the blindfold is a separate object that you request from the menu. It comes with wrist restraints, but I didn’t use them.

So I have another dystopian vision for you today. The gas mask from Cubic Cherry from Thereafter certainly fits the bill. The textures are phenomenal, and you can a variety of colors and options to chose from the color change HUD. I get to relive my childhood love of the PlayStation One classic, Bust-a-Groove, which was a rhythm game with all sorts music and dance styles and the techno character was named Gas-O, who naturally came with his gas mask.

I am also wearing two new makeups from alaskametro<3. For the eyeshadow, I am wearing her Cairo set at On9 which is with duo colors and a heavy liner. In the middle picture, I am wearing her Mistress lipstick at anyBODY which has a nice sexy liner to give it that sex appeal.

The Vinyl dress is from a brand new gacha event, Pocket Gacha! Yes, another gacha event, BUT, one that is HUD based and can be played anywhere! Now no more laggy sims because of all the scripts and overly complex avatars aren’t in one place. You can purchase tokens (1 token for every L$1) or just give the HUD permission to take out money from your personal account. Some designers give the option to purchase all the items at copy permissions, which is amazing! Pull prices vary from 50 tokens/L$ to 100 tokens/L$. Personally, I like the token system so I don’t end up spending my balance on gacha items, but it seems like people prefer giving permission.

I am becoming more enamored with using Windlights as my lighting for my photos, I am still wearing my Glam Affair Artic skin and it looks positively bone white.

There are a few more new items in the pictures. My hair is from Mirthral Apothecary for this month’s Kustom9. I thought it was a pretty hairstyle, perfect for more romantic, feminine blogs, but I love how it looks in the post-apocalyptic context. The sandals are fri.day‘s contribution to last week’s Fifty Linden Friday. I really like the straps and grommets on it. You can’t quite see it in the pictures with the gas mask, but I am wearing OXIDE‘s Nox choker, which is also from Thereafter.

I thought I would try something a little darker, both in the imagery and the actual lighting of the photos.

It isn’t terribly dark by SL standards so there is that!

Today, I’m wearing the two pieces put out by imbue. at SaNaRae‘s July Round. The knit top has a great texture. I really liked the layers/scallops and knew I had to get it. The jean skirt is also nice and I like the patterned pockets. The pockets come in three styles, normal and two patterns. Be sure to hurry to SaNaRae as this round closes in just a few days!

The hair is from Mithral Apothecary at Hairology. Mithral is one of my favorite hair brands because of her lovely ginger options. I like an orangey auburn/copper, not too dark or red, not neon orange. I will not buy hairs with the wrong color texture, so I really love it when I find a ginger that is perfect and give all my business to them. I also like Mithral‘s general style of meshing so I always enjoy trying on her hair.

In other news, I actually went to ROMP this round because I was trying to find a nice body suit, but I didn’t find any that worked for me. In addition to the body suit, I was looking for some nice domme shoes because every girl needs to stomp on their sub. I thought these from [BREATHE], which is quickly becoming a fixture on the event circuit, so I snatched these epic sandals right up. I also picked up poses from an lar [poses] without trying them so I was thrilled to find them perfect for blogging.

The jewelry is from two events happening now, Rewind and The Coven. The padlock septum is from The Horror!~, who is coming back from a short hiatus, at Rewind: 70’s Punk. Included in the pack are four metals and two versions, plain and one with an anarchy symbol.

As summer starts to dwindle, I wanted to make sure that I got to the beach!

 

But I found nothing but seaweed and seashells to step on.

Today’s look is mainly from Just Because. I really like she does mainstore releases, as I can find whatever she is also selling because she does some great basics. The swimsuit comes in a variety of colors and there is also a sheer panel version included.

This month is also the month of The Mesh Body Addicts Fair, which runs until the 21st of August. I found this awesome tattoo shop called .Identity. Body Shop and got this awesome floral tattoo for a great price. Tattoos that I like are hard to find because sometimes the tattoos look like someone threw a bunch of logos or clip art or it looks all messy because the design is too heavily shaded. I thought this tattoo looked awesome and I wasn’t disappointed.

One of my favorite cosmetics brand, alaskametro<3, is also in the fair and I bought so much makeup! I found these nice velvety lipsticks and got the perfect color for my outfit. Alaska always does a great job with her cosmetics and I am a very loyal customer and her prices are always reasonable.

I went to another event called Prismagica and got a set of modeling poses from double take. All the poses have the legs in stride, which is probably why the set is called “in stride.” I am showing off the Sticky Sweet pose.

The sunglasses are from LaGyo at the most recent Collabor88. They are super fabulous!

The hair and hair accessories are from a brand that is new to me called [kik]. When I was looking for hair to complement my swimsuit and thought the beachy waves really went well. The hair accessories are included in the hair, which is awesome!

Last, but not least, are my sandals from fri.day at the most recent Uber. They are super hot and perfect for strutting across the boardwalk.

Unicorns are Real

Hey! Long time no see!

I got super busy this year and SL commitments had to be dropped!

So I went shopping at Collabor88‘s birthday round and there were so much rainbow and plastic/vinyl/leather, I nearly ran out of money buying everything! I got the hair from .Olive., which is a guest in the birthday round. It super kawaii and based off of a YouTuber that is obsessed with Magical Girl items! I also got these hot heels from [BREATH], which is a new brand to me, but these are so pretty. I also got these cute lightning bolt charm earrings from Schadenfreude.

The dress is from Poppy at Uber, which is a relatively new brand, with the texture artist, Roslin Petion, being a long time fixture in the SL fashion community through her skins and lingerie.

My makeup is by Studio Exposure from the August Powder Pack for Lelutka. It all unicorny and wonderfully twee. Both the eyeshadow and the lipstick are beautifully done, with the wet, glossy lipstick and the metallic sheen of the shadow, it was one of my favorites from the pack this month. I LOVE Powder Pack so much because getting all this makeup for a great deal is really a steal and I always find stuff that I like. “I feel pretty. Oh so pretty!”

I am feeling like a bombshell in my new outfit.

The events of April have started and the March ones are winding down and I thought I should show you what I got in my latest haul of items.

I am wearing this beautiful gown by [EvelineintheBox] at the Square1 event, which runs until the 21st of April. I haven’t worn many gowns in Second Life, largely due to not going to formal events. In the early days of Second Life, there were gowns galore and events to go often, but now everyone is far more casual when going out to have fun with friends.

The harness is from Cubic Cherry’s Vain gacha set at the Lootbox event. When I saw the previews on Plurk, I was salivating and looking for a chance to wear it. It is a rare (the other rare is a pastel harness). When I put it on for this blog, I knew it worked. The harness does have a strap around the waist, although it is obscured by the dress.

 If you don’t notice, I am wearing a new skin applier with new freckles. Glam Affair did this wonderful Maria applier for Powder Pack’s first Lelutka box. The skin feels like my system head more than the default skin that comes with the head. The freckles are from Izzie’s, once again from Powder Pack for Lelutka March box. I really like they way they came out. Izzie’s also did the eye makeup and the lashes, but the eyeshadow is from the Power Pack. Last but not least the lipstick came from Bold & Beauty’s contribution to Power Pack, which is a huge palette of matte lipsticks.

I am also wearing alaskametro<3’s  foil flash tattoos. The appliers have materials. This is the rare that has all the commons together in one applier. This was a gacha for the Spoonful of Sugar Event for Doctors without Borders, although, the event is now over.

Last but not least, I am wearing ISON’s Shoetopia item, the Charlotte heel, which themed HUDs to change various parts of the shoe. The meshwork is stunning as usual. Shoetopia has a bunch of great shoes just waiting for you to pick out!

Gone Glamping

I don’t camp at all. Something about bugs, dirt, and public toilets isn’t appealing. I am an urbanite that will make a large city park into my own forest.

The irony is I love the feel and the smells, just not the frustrating negatives. I really like when the forest is right on the coast. It just adds a lovely feeling to the world. The West of the Rain sim has a cute representation of a seaside island forest. Something about it just puts me at ease.

This is the second post for the Stuff My Inventory‘s Jewelry & Accessories Hunt. This time I am showing off Indulge Temptation‘s (Also known as IT!) Majestique Set. There is a beautiful stone pendant in both the earrings and the necklace. The gorgeous wire work changes to 10 different metal colors. And you get it for free!

I am also wearing my new Slink Bento Hands! If you already purchased hands from Slink, go to the mainstore, click on a redelivery computer, and have your hands redelivered, and you should have them when you open the box. The meshwork is well done, but I wish the default bones didn’t curl so dramatically. Plus they are animated to give some life to the fingers if you don’t have a bento AO.

The blouse is from COCO, a brand that has been around forever, and I remember going to their store during the stamp rallies, which were held back about 5 years ago, twice a year. You had to buy an item with the stamp sheet and then go to all the stores participating and have your sheet “stamped.” Then you turned in your sheets for prizes from the participating stores. It was an awesome event, that I wish creators would do again!

The jeans are from Addams, which have been a nice staple in my everyday SL wardrobe. The shoes are from Essenz, which are just the black pair of the ones I got from Monthly Midnight Madness, because I was loving the nude pair, but needed them in black too.

Slowing Down Time

So I was up for a promotion at another store location in my state and it is in a little seaside town. The interview went great and I love the area, but I didn’t get it, which could be a better thing in the long run.

The town is where I frequently vacation with my parents and it would be wonderful to finally move away from my hometown. This beachy sim, Jacks. is wonderfully stark, unlike the ones in the town that I applying. Most of the beaches have big cliffs surrounding them, but this is all open beach, much like its own island.

This month is Stuff My Inventory‘s Jewelry and Accessories Hunt, which has a boho theme. I am both a blogger and a merchant, look for my item in another post. Today, I am wearing creme spaghetti hair‘s Choker8 in bronze. It comes in multiple colors–a fatpack–and it has a neat “Celtic” knotted triangle (I don’t have any Irish ancestry). I am also wearing these nice turquoise feather earrings from Yokai, which are really well done, although I had to resize them because they were a tiny bit too big for the avatar. I have the link to SMI’s website with all the hints and LM’s for the hunt.

The outfit was started by the tops, from Pixicat’s Bloom Jacket, which includes the fake shirt. It was for Collabor88’s February round, however, by the time this post goes live, it is likely it will be in the mainstore. The skirt is from Tres Blah, but it a really old item that I have kept. The shoes are from Ingenue, which is from a couple Collobor88 rounds ago. I love oxfords and saddle shoes, and I totally fatpacked them.

Now I must take a second to discuss my favorite applier store, Izzie’s. The socks and all the makeup is from Izzie’s. I have piles and piles of her socks and stockings and they are all really well done. I thought that the knee socks looked great with the look.

The texture work on the crying applier is just about amazing and is so well done. I also have been looking for decent Lelutka lip gloss. I find with some makeup brands the textures go beyond the lip bounds to create a bigger, pouter lip, which is not really the look I go for with Kitty. Izzie did such a great job with the lip glosses that I might just keep them on permanently.
